In this episode Tara and I speak about how the food and body disconnection among women ties into feminism. This was a juicy topic that we haven't addressed on the show yet and I was fired up after hearing what Tara had to say about this. She also asks a question that I want you to think about, “What could you actually accomplish if your fight with food and  weight didn’t exist?” Let this settle in and once you have the answer, pop into the Facebook group and let me know!

  1. The magic of integrating more simplicity in journaling.
  2. How we can allow our body to be our main source of feedback.
  3. Breaking away from the need to lose more weight before we can fully show up.

  • 13:30- Tools to identify what freedom feels like in your body.
  • 29:20- Feminism, body image and food dependency.

In this episode we talk about the mindset of men and how women can support them in cultivating emotional intelligence. He said something really profound, “Women are the permission cards for men’s vulnerability and growth.” I  loved that because it’s not from a place of trying to control, but from us being the example. You know, showing up, being vulnerable, talking about our emotions and processing them in real time. It’s a beautiful dance.

Today Robyn and I talk about energetic frequencies, vibrations and flow. I am so into this conversation about vibe and food. It is something that I am personally really digging into in my own life and I using in my own work as well. But what I love about this episode is how Robyn brings quantum physics to the conversation, so it's like combining woo woo stuff with actual science proving we and everything around us is just energy. All day long we’re either giving or receiving energy. The more energy we have, the higher we vibrate and more of what we LOVE becomes available to us. Robyn goes more in depth in her new book Vibe and has given our listeners some great freebies. Make sure to listen in for the links or check the show notes.

About Robyn

Robyn Openshaw is the author of 15 books, including bestsellers The Green Smoothies Diet and 12 Steps to Whole Foods. Her latest book, Vibe: Unlock the Energetic Frequencies of Limitless Health, Love & Success, will be released by Simon & Schuster in October 2017. She is a former psychotherapist, university professor, and lectured in 450 cities in the 6 years. She believes that everything is possible if you leverage the highest frequencies in the Universe.

In this episode, Robyn shares:

1. How alignment makes our decisions easy.
2. Using food to increase our frequency instead of targeting our weight.
3. How our emotions affect our vibrations.

What you’ll hear:

10:46- How we can allow our emotions to flow through our bodies.
16:19- Clearing energy as an empath or energy healer.
19:26- The vibrational frequencies of pork vs green juice.
31:59- How siting in gratitude affects us on a cellular level

This conversation with Christine made me feel so energized. She is a force. She’s one of those beautiful women who’s been in this industry for quite a while and she has never swayed from her integrity. That’s what I appreciate so much about her.  She’s just so knowledgeable in the realm of personal development and we get into the fundamental reasons why of so many of us don’t fully jump into our transformation with both feet. You know that feeling of having one foot in and one foot out? We really want it but we don't know why we’re fully not in it yet. This episode really digs into that pattern. We talk about pain, fear, anger and the big one, purpose. For those of you saying,”I don't know how to find my purpose.” and for those of you searching for your purpose, Christine gives us a different definition of what purpose truly is and you may find that you’re right where you need to be. Also, for those of you who really resonated with this episode and the message Christine delivered, she will be hosting a free webinar called The No Regrets Masterclass: Transform Your Struggles into Superpowers in 3 Simple Steps on Oct. 11th at 5pm.
