Are you truly practicing true self-love or just checking boxes off of your “to-do” list to fulfill your self-care tasks for the day? Today I am chatting with Paul Fishman, a self-love coach who got into the business after turning his own pain into his life’s purpose. Paul shares about how dealing with abusive relationships and coming out about his sexuality helped him to shed the emotional weight he had been hanging onto. He also talks about how he got into coaching self-love and why many people have a fear of being successful. He gives us insight into how focusing on how you want to feel will help you to stop suffering and why external validation is the villain of self-love.

About Paul Fishman:

Paul Fishman, a lauded Self Love Coach and Advocate, didn't always radiate in his authenticity. At rock bottom Paul was 75 pounds overweight, closeted, and the epitome of a people pleaser. When he stepped into his light, came out and honored his truth Paul lost the weight and manifested the life of his dreams.

Inside this episode, Paul shares:

  • Trying to be the person that other people want us to be leads to suffering
  • How coming out helped Paul shed emotional weight
  • The fear of being successful
  • Getting caught up in the all or nothing mentality
  • Becoming devoted to your individuality
  • The difference between self-love and self-care
  • Changing your experience of life by changing your intention
  • Why external validation is the villain of self-love
