Jenna Phillips

In this episode, Jenna and I got to explore the importance of inviting play into our every day lives. It’s so funny, as adults, we become so restricted that we forget we’re allowed to have FUN! We also touched on the insane power of language. What we chose to say about our circumstances directly affects our emotional and our physical states. Jenna lives by this concept (I’ve seen it first hand) and does an amazing job showcasing the benefits as she walks us through some of her life’s most traumatic experiences.

About Jenna Phillips

Jenna began her career in 2006 as a personal trainer and life coach for celebrities and has been featured on Dr. Phil and The Doctors. Halfway through her career, she realized she had a bigger calling.

In 2016, she cofounded Ascension Leadership Academy with her husband and they have coached hundreds of people into their greatness. She's also the founder of Unicorn University - where women never spend another day being beige, broke, or behaved.

In this episode, Jenna shares:

  1. How playfulness activates higher levels of possibilities in life.
  2. Using food and clothes as physical barriers for safety.
  3. Loving hurtful parts of the past and using them as tools to strengthen the present.
  4. How her Unicorn University encourages women to be who they want.

What You’ll Hear:

5:10-The healing powers of allowing yourself to break down.

9:46- The direct connection our language and our experiences.

15:05- How Jenna cultivated and strengthened a mindset of abundance.

24:00- Using forgiveness to release shame around traumatic experiences.

In this episode, Kelsey Grant and I touch on a super important topic of women who don’t acknowledge and allow themselves to feel angry and to process anger effectively. So often we’re walking around this planet with so much suppressed anger, rage and emotion. That stuff needs to be cleared and processed because it’s not good, it’s not bad, it’s just emotion information. Once we allow ourselves to clear that, we get to experience those higher vibrating emotions of bliss, freedom and liberation in our bodies.

About Kelsey Grant:

Kelsey Grant is a Love and Relationship Educator who runs an organization designed to help men understand women and women understand men.

Currently, she's teaching “A Year Of Love” her flagship relationship program, and producing her one day event "Get the Love Worth Having" with her incredible team. Together, with her team, they're dedicated to teaching men and women how to attract and keep high quality love and high value relationships worth having.

In this episode, Kelsey shares:

1. Falling in love with ourselves first.

2. Partnership Vs Relationship

3. Moving through anger and its relation to aggression.

4. Allowing our emotions equal exposure.

What You’ll Hear:

5:21 Connecting to yourself and learning what it’s like to love yourself.

8:20 A deep explanation of partnership vs relationship.

16:00 Consciously dating and setting boundaries.

22:45 How to use movement as an effective way to release.

35:00 Giving your emotions stage time to fully be acknowledged.
