Renee Airya

This episode with Renee Airya is about accepting the range of our emotions and feeling comfortable with expressing them. We also talk about connecting to our truth, which comes up often on the podcast, but it's so important for us to create that internal channel of connection. In this episode Jill Coleman and I talk about how we can find purpose outside of the obsession we have with our bodies. This is a huge conversation and a core desire for a lot of the women who come into HFH community. This episode with Lisa Kaplin is all about getting over the fear of voicing our truth and creating a clear channel of communication. You know something I see constantly with my clients is the fear of speaking up because we're afraid of rejection and something I always say to them is it's not rejection, it's re-direction. As children we were taught to be quiet, fit in, just accept what’s given to us and follow the rules because that’s the respectful thing to do. So as evolved women when we want to speak out, wr second guess ourselves and think, "What if they don’t like me?", "What if I'm not loved?", "What if I'm rejected?" Lisa does a great job explaining how to get out of this mindset so we can feel worthy and deserving and truly just ask for and get what we want.

I loved this episode. One thing we talked about with our group programs and with all of our clients is life is constantly happening for us in perfect timing. When we can step out of that victim mentality of "Life is happening to me" and and "Life is happening for me" it shifts our emotionality and we're able to see and experience more miracles and so we talked a lot about this. Jessica opens up about her condition, endometriosis and how it's given her awareness of her body.  By going plant based, she has managed and eliminated many of her symptoms. We talk about the impact of food and our bodies from an internal approach, how it affects our menstrual cycles and Jessica takes us through a body scan practice to check in which was super cool.

This episode with the lovely Rebecca Niziol is all about recognizing our flow states. Flow is something that’s naturally accessible in our bodies and it feels different for everyone. For Rebecca, it’s the feeling of ease. For me, it’s losing track of time because I’m doing something I'm so immersed in and I totally love. We’re this steady stream of love but as we go through life, we get blocked from the pain, trauma and forced actions we experience. Rebecca explains how we can acknowledge our blocks so we can heal, remove them and get back into our natural state, which is of course flow.

In this episode with Katie Dalebout we talk about expressing our true selves through journaling. I freaking love journaling and for those of you who are not journalers, journaling is a beautiful way to release the emotionality that’s trapped in our bodies so we can really decipher the difference between what is true and what is not true. So whether we have an idea, need to process an emotion or we just literally need to dump our thoughts down, we can do it in a sacred space without any fear of judgment. I have brought on one of my dear clients, Sue Spencer. I know for myself, I had no idea I was an empath and constantly felt drained by other people's energy. Today on the podcast I have one of my mentors who I literally can't say enough good things about. He has changed my life in so many ways and I am endlessly grateful of the amount of love, support, care and attention he's poured into me since the beginning. I remember him saying to me, when I was first starting Hungry for Happiness, he grabbed my hand, looked me in the eye and said, "I believe in you." It's a moment I remember every time I feel like I'm pushing boulders uphill. This episode is all about relationships, childhood wounds and appreciation. Neil Moore has such wisdom around creating intimacy through conscious connection. Today I’m interviewing Rachel Foy and I loved this episode. We touched base on so many levels in this episode. Her and I both were chronic dieters for years and we talked about having a respect and appreciation for food.
